This 'n That

Today's post will be a mix of things, hope you don't mind. Here is another towel ring:
The colors remind me of Easter. I'm thinking this might go to someone special.
Here is a baby bib I made up the other day, just to try it:

You can find the pattern here.  Love how the yarn made that neat pattern in it.
The next few pics are for Doris:

Hope that helps some Doris! And here are the squares for SIBOL, finally finished. I  made this solid yellow one:
I found it at the website allcrafts.net and the square is called "Tilted Square." Here are all four of them:

Okay, I think you're all caught up now! I am so excited about my Girls' Craft Day on Sunday. I started cleaning the house yesterday and am finishing up today, then need to finish all my little towel ring gifts for the girls. You know I will be taking pictures of the festivities and sharing them with you next week. Happy Friday all.

  1. I love the ringy thingies for towels. I'm going to go over to Ravelry and find that pattern.

And if Doris writes a pattern for those towel dresses, would you be so kind as to share it with me?

Check your email. I sent you something.

  2. Pammy, I would be happy to share the pattern with you when/if I get it from Doris. As for the towel ringy thingies (love that name!) if you can't find the 2" plastic rings I also found that old shower curtain rings work great.. I found some clear plastic ones in a box in the garage yesterday and tried one, worked great. It's just a tad bigger than 2". Got the email... once again, you rock!!

  3. I love your hodge-podge, Sandy! :) That what my last post was like, a little of this, a little of that! Pammy Sue always has a way with words, doesn't she. "Towel Ringy Thingies" LOL!

  4. Oh, I love that first towel ring - would make a great little party favor or gift. I think I'll make some for myself instead of the bigger ones I sell in my shop. I recently got a hold of some shower curtain rings that would do perfectly well for that project.
Thanks for the oven dress closeup. I wonder if the kitchen towel was cut in half for that one?
