Monday Ta-Dah!

The baby blanket is finally finished.... yay! I took Vaughnde and Karin's suggestions and did a reverse single crochet border. First I did one row of SC, then a row of DC, then a row of the reverse single crochet. I really like how it turned out. Thanks for the help ladies!  Here it is:

I've now started on the second blanket I have to finish (by this Saturday no less!!) It is the round baby ripple and so far I am liking it:

This is only 5 rounds in, I have lots more to go, so I better get busy.

  1. Your blanket looks very pretty. I love using the reverse sc. It gives the piece a finite appearance.

You have been a very busy bee... looks like the blue one will be equally beautiful!

  2. We are so much alike. I used this same yarn. Wasn't it fun.

Now, about your flip-flops in the last posting. I was just thinking about doing a pair of those about an hour ago, while out in the garden. Now, I have too, that's for sure.

Have a great rest of the day,
    Kate

  3. Well, I love the end result. That reverse SC really adds a nice touch. Great job! Oh, and round ripples are so much fun. Not so much when you have to be crocheting 24/7 to get it done! :) Good luck . . . wish we could all pitch in with a round or two to help out.

  4. I think your blanket turned out great. I lobe the reverse sc, I use it every chance I get. I think it is really a pretty final edging. You've done great my friend. Take care
