And since she wants me to crochet her a lapghan that she can use at work to stay warm, she chose this yarn:
I'm going to try my first ripple with it... wish me luck! I have admired them ever since I saw Lucy's at Attic 24, so it's time to jump in and try one.
I made two more baby hats while visiting with the in-laws, will post more about that tomorrow. See you then!
Ahh, you're gonna love that yarn! That's why it's called "I LOVE THIS YARN"! :) I love using it for afghans and scarfs . . . it is so soft and so nice to work with. Be careful when you get into the middle of the skeins. I always come across some areas where the yarn is all fluffed out for some reason. Sometimes it goes on for a ways, and I end up with a row or so of big, fat stitches. Depending on what I'm making and who I'm making it for, I sometimes go ahead and cut the yarn and move past the fluffy part. But, anyway, you'll love it, and the ripple will be so nice with those colors. Be sure to show us pics!
