A Monday Ta-Dah!

I finished my sister's lapghan today. I was debating about doing the edging, but I'm glad I really finished it off nicely. Are you ready for the Ta-Dah???? Okay, here it is:

Some closer shots:

Now I must admit that this is not a true ripple afghan pattern a la Lucy, as you can see by the holes (no increasing or decreasing). So I guess I kinda cheated a little!  But I will definitely try Lucy's ripple soon... I even have some yarn in my stash that will be perfect for it.

I did not have any problems with this yarn, and now I can see why they call it I Love This Yarn! I will be making more projects with it in the future.

Now I'm going to go back to working on the baby blanket, hope to have it finished in the next few days.

  1. hey I like how you used the colors :)

  2. The color scheme is so unique. I really like it, and I agree that the edging adds that special touch. Great job! I'm working on a lapghan right now that has no increases/decreases. It is so easy to work on while watching TV. I think ripples are a blast! :)

  3. I love it! The colors are great together. Nice job.

  4. That is gorgeous! I love the colours too. I've never heard the word lapghan before but it makes so much sense.

Thanks so much for leaving me a comment; I love to hear from you. I will reply directly to your comment right here on my blog.
