Got a few more baby hats done today... the pink one with the flower is my favorite so far. I've decided that crocheting baby hats is a lot like eating potato chips... you can't stop at just one!!!
Awww so cute! Where did you get the patterns? I have a Great Neice coming soon in a week or so I think and I would love to make her a hat and a blanket.
I just searched all over the internet and found several that I liked. Here are a few to get you started: http://susan.kraus.net/pages/pattern5.html (I am working this one right now, no pic up yet) http://kaleidesigns.com/crochet/patterns/archive/baby002.html (Even tho it says preemie hat, it gives directions for newborn size) http://www.crochetspot.com/category/free-crochet-patterns/page/5/ (this is the pink one that I just added a flower to)
Vaughnde, if you use the first pattern I gave you (the one that says SLK Baby Hat) be sure and use a F or G hook. I used an H hook and Snuggly Wuggly yarn from Michael's and I think it came out way too big! I would definitely go down a size or two on the hook and maybe use a different yarn!
