Ugh!

I finished the baby blanket today... and I really don't like it. It's one of those projects where I just kind of look at it and go "ugh." I guess I like the more traditional-looking baby blankets. I'm trying to decide if it's too late to start another one.

For once I finished a project in the daytime so I was able to take pictures outside in the sun:



Please share your honest opinion... trust me, you won't hurt my feelings! I would really appreciate any feedback you can give me.

    I made one out of cotton that I hated. Did you use cotton for this one. I think it is the colors you don't like. But I love the edging.

    Nope, it's not cotton. Maybe you're right, maybe it is the colors. I like the edging too, it is something I would use again on another project.

    I think it is pretty. The stitches are nice and even and the tension looks good. It is balanced. So don't beat yourself up about it. I make a lot of things that don't turn out as they are pictured in my head. I, like you, post the bad as well as the good. People have to know that not everything is successful.
