Finished Lapghan

I have finally finished my Dad's lapghan, just in time to give it to him for Father's Day.

This is the first time that I have ever come so close to running out of yarn... this is how much I had left:

Whew...I just made it! Since I was so close to running out of yarn, I only ended up doing one row of SC and one row of DC for the border... I had intended to do a last row of Reverse Single Crochet but it didn't happen. Oh well, no one will know but me (and now you!)

Here it is:

Now I'm off to make a few more of those mouse pads... once my sister saw mine, she decided she had to have two... one for home and one for work!

Hope everyone has a really great weekend.

  1. You must be feeling fine, whipping out all these projects! Glad to see it. I'm sure your dad will love the lapghan and your mouse pads are cute-cute.

  2. Your Dad will be so pleased with the blanket you made him. I'm sure he will find a really good use for it. I'm glad you are feeling good enough to do some work, plus your mouse pads are a very good idea. You may be suppose to take it easy but your brain is working double time. Take care of yourself, we are all thinking about you.

  3. OOh I bet you was holding your breath there! I must say this is a beautiful, beautiful blanket. Your Dad will absolutely love it I'm sure knowing that you have made it for him.
Its simply lovely. I love the colours.
Thanks for stopping by, yes we had a great time.
    Love Suex
