Finished Lapghan

I have finally finished my Dad's lapghan, just in time to give it to him for Father's Day.

This is the first time that I have ever come so close to running out of yarn... this is how much I had left:

Whew...I just made it! Since I was so close to running out of yarn, I only ended up doing one row of SC and one row of DC for the border... I had intended to do a last row of Reverse Single Crochet but it didn't happen. Oh well, no one will know but me (and now you!)

Here it is:

Now I'm off to make a few more of those mouse pads... once my sister saw mine, she decided she had to have two... one for home and one for work!

Hope everyone has a really great weekend.

  2. Your Dad will be so pleased with the blanket you made him. I'm sure he will find a really good use for it. I'm glad you are feeling good enough to do some work, plus your mouse pads are a very good idea. You may be suppose to take it easy but your brain is working double time. Take care of yourself, we are all thinking about you.
